Apple set to launch Netflix-style streaming service

Apple’s March 25 Event featured the tagline “It’s Show Time,” and it was quite different than the usual Apple hardware fest.
Rather than assembling the usual techies, the event brought together Hollywood executives and filmmakers in Cupertino, California, and served as the official unveiling of the company’s slate of television and movie programming for its new Apple Tv Streming servicxes, dubbed Apple TV Plus.
The service will be an ad-free subscription service featuring on-demand online and offline content. It will be available in more than 100 countries, and will launch this fall.
This is Apple, of course, so some details regarding the service and programming slate remain under wraps, but we now have some confirmation regarding the long list of TV shows and feature-length films in various stages of development by the company.
